Maria Flores is a student at the Charles A. Jones Training and Education Center (Sacramento CA) which hosted the 2020 Northern California EL Civics Conference. She demonstrated a Naturalization interview with her teacher, Mr. Monte, who was high school administrator for 30 years and then went on to teach Citizenship Preparation classes for another thirty years! Thuan was preparing for her interview--which was scheduled March 23--but now her interview has been delayed by the USCIS Field Office shutdown due to COVID-19. USCIS will automatically re-schedule her interview, and send her an appointment via the mail. When? When? When? No one know yet when their interviews will be scheduled. Keep on practicing--be ready when your interview letter comes!
